Tour Itinerary
- ① 13:30 Meet at the hotel at Shinjuku West Exit
- ②14:00 Shibuya
- ③14:30 Harajuku Takeshita Street, Omotesando, Meiji Shrine
- ④16:30 Edo-Tokyo Museum
- ⑤17:45 Asakusa, Senso-ji Temple, Kamukura Ramen
- ⑥19:30 Board the Sobu Line from Akihabara Station and disband at Suidobashi Station (they returned to Shinjuku by themselves)
What Can You See on a 6-Hour Private Walking Tour of Tokyo? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visitors from North America. They requested to see as many sights as possible during a 6-hour tour. Since they planned to visit the Imperial Palace and a Japanese garden on their own, they did not need guiding for those spots. They were interested in historical sites but not in anime and similar topics. Although heavy rain fell during the latter half of the tour, we energetically visited the sights mentioned above. The guests seemed very pleased to have enjoyed the many different sides of Tokyo. On the way back from Asakusa, exactly 6 hours had passed, and since they were going to return to their accommodation on their own, we parted ways at Suidobashi Station.

Our guide, Sam, was very knowledgeable about the are and guided us to several temples using public transportation. We stopped for a traditional Japanese lunch and saw some of the specialty wood carvings from the area. Our guide enjoyed the beauty of nature and his enthusiasm helped us to pay attention to the natural beauty as well.
