Title: What Can You See on a Full-Day Private Tour of Tokyo? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were visitors from North America. Since they were soon to board a cruise ship, they did not purchase Suica or similar cards, so buying tickets at each station took some time. In front of the Hachiko statue, there was no one around, and we were able to take photos smoothly. At Meiji Shrine, I explained Japanese history, the difference between shrines and temples, and the origins of Meiji Shrine, and we offered prayers at the main hall. At the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, I talked about the shoguns, feudal lords, and Edo Castle as we walked, and the guests showed interest in the flowers and the carp in the pond. In Asakusa, they enjoyed eating ramen. In Ginza, we went from the 4-chome intersection to Ginza Six and enjoyed the scenery. Finally, the tour concluded near the Hotel by the south exit of Shinjuku Station.
