Tour Itinerary in Detail
Meeting at hotel in Akihabara at 10:00, the group explored Tokyo until the tour ended at 16:00. The day ran to 6 hours from start to finish.
The itinerary covered Asakusa at 10:20, Tsukiji Outer Market at 11:40, Tokyo Tower at 14:30 and Akihabara at 15:40.
Travel between the sites was by public transport: Akihabara to Asakusa by subway (180JPY); Asakusa to Higashi-ginza by subway (210JPY); Tsukiji Market to Daimon (Tokyo) by subway (180JPY); Hamamatsucho to Akihabara by train (200JPY). Across 4 sections the fare came to 770JPY per person.
What Is a Private Tokyo Day Tour with a Licensed Guide Like? A Tsukiji Food and Sightseeing Report
The guests were a group visiting from North America. Although the weather was poor in the morning with occasional heavy rain, it improved after lunch, allowing for a comfortable tour. The day proceeded according to the itinerary agreed upon in advance without any issues, and I believe the guests enjoyed themselves. In particular, they were delighted when I took them to a hidden gem of a Japanese restaurant in Tsukiji for lunch. After lunch, they also savored wagyu skewers and strawberry candy in Tsukiji. At each place we visited, they listened to my explanations with great interest, and they were truly wonderful guests.

Great 8 hour tour of Tokyo
Takeshi was great with us. He communicated with us beforehand about what we wanted to see, then made arrangements where we would meet. He was there on time to meet us. Our day was fabulous. He took us to see all of the things we talked about and helped us navigate through Tokyo. He was very knowledgeable and interesting, yet he kept it fun. We only had one day in Tokyo and this tour really helped us maximize pur time! Great tpur, would highly recommend

It was a wonderful way to experience Tokyo and get a real feel for the city. Takeshi was friendly, easy to talk to and yet very professional. He answered our millions of questions and took us to an amazing place for lunch! We had a full day riding the train the train to various highlights. A really fantastic tour.
