What's a Private Cherry Blossom Day Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Asakusa, Tsukiji, Meguro River, and Meiji Shrine

The guests were close friends visiting from North America. At Asakusa, they said the view from the tourist information center was wonderful. They were also delighted by the beauty of Sensoji Temple and Asakusa Shrine. I had heard from the agent that they were not interested in shopping, but they had been asked to buy souvenirs, so we looked for them together. At Tsukiji, they sampled a variety of foods, including beans. Since they were not yet hungry, we moved on to the Meguro River. We strolled along the Meguro River while enjoying the cherry blossoms. The weather was fine, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, and there were many stalls, so we fully enjoyed the blossoms while sipping sakura wine. Afterward, once they got hungry, we moved to Harajuku and had lunch at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. They said it was very delicious. Next, we visited Meiji Shrine. They said the forest of Meiji Shrine and the shrine buildings were truly wonderful. We walked from the north approach to Shinjuku Gyoen, where the tour concluded. They were both very cheerful and fun, and with the clear skies and cherry blossoms in full bloom, I believe they had an enjoyable time.
