Private One-Day Tokyo Tour with a Licensed Guide: What Can You See in a Day? A Guide's Report

The guests were visitors from North America on their first trip to Japan. After retiring, they enjoy traveling at least once a year.

Because their inbound flight was delayed by as much as eight hours, the meeting time was changed three times, but it was finally set for a 10:00 meeting on the day. Starting the next day, they were scheduled to board a cruise ship for two weeks.

First, we visited Meiji Jingu Shrine. They happened to see a wedding ceremony and a shrine visit for a newborn, which delighted them.

Next, we went to Tsukiji. As it was very crowded, we had lunch at a familiar sushi restaurant.

Then we walked through the cherry blossom passage at the Imperial Palace. There was a security check and it was quite crowded, but the cherry blossoms were in full bloom and the guests seemed to fully enjoy them.

Finally, we headed to Asakusa. They purchased five kimono-style robes as souvenirs and appeared very satisfied.
