Title: What's a Private Cherry Blossom Tour of Tokyo Like on a Rainy Day? A Licensed Guide's Report
It rained all day, but it was not too heavy, so we completed the full itinerary. At Shinjuku Gyoen, there were many kinds of cherry blossoms in full bloom (the guest also pointed the camera at the deep red plum blossoms and camellias), and they were very moved. It was a solo trip, and it was memorable to see the guest sending videos of the cherry blossoms to a family member back home. We searched online for a restaurant and even went to check it out in advance, but it was closed, so in the end we had kitsune udon, which was a bit of a shame. Everything went according to schedule without any problems, which was great.

Great experience. On our first day in Tokyo, our guide Yoriko took us to several locations around the city to see various gardens and cherry blossom locations. She reached out ahead of time to coordinate and was knowledgeable and helpful throughout the tour, topping it off with a delicious sushi lunch.

You will see a variety of gardens. Be ready to travel extensively on the subway- very clean
and efficient! Guide told me to get a pass card in advance so it was quick and easy to use
the system ! Went to a great restaurant she knew for lunch!

We are all active so we chose the walking tour which included the subway. This is a great introduction to getting around the city. Our guide Yoriko brought us to several places we hadn’t thought to go and are very happy we went to. She was a perfect and thoughtful guide! We all had a great day! Thank you!
