Title: What's a Full-Day Private Walking Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The weather was clear and warm, and the tour proceeded smoothly. Since the guests were planning to run the Tokyo Marathon the following day, I guided them from the finish point in front of Tokyo Station to the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace. A few cherry trees were in bloom, and the guests took many photos of the cherry and plum blossoms. In Asakusa, I talked about Buddhism and the history of the wartime damage, and since the guests wished to try melon bread, we stopped at a shop and had a snack. At Meiji Shrine, I received many questions about the shrine and its history, but there were two wedding ceremonies taking place, which caused us to pause along the way. I had planned to guide them along Takeshita Street on the way back, but partway through they stopped at a fast-food restaurant to shop, said they could find their own way from there, and the tour ended at that point. A tip was received.
