What Is a Private History and Garden Tour Like for Guests Visiting Japan? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visitors from North America, and I guided them according to the requests they had shared in advance. It was the day after a long flight, so I was a little concerned about how they might be feeling, but they went through the itinerary energetically and we finished as scheduled. Since they had mentioned an interest in Japanese history, culture, and gardens, I introduced related topics at each location, and they seemed very pleased. They had also expressed interest in Japanese cuisine, but as they had eaten a large breakfast and were not hungry, we continued the tour without lunch. Pleasant Intro to Tokyo
Nobu was an experienced and informative guide. It was a great introduction to Tokyo – a busy and vastly interesting city. We learned about Japanese history and toured some of the major sites including the Imperial gardens, a Buddhist temple, a Shinto shrine, and the bustling Shibuya Crossing. Nobu helped us get familiar with the subway system and explained some of Japanese cuisine. We greatly enjoyed our tour and recommend it to others!
