What's a Standard Private Tokyo Sightseeing Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guest was a visitor from North America, traveling solo. Rather than trendy spots, the guest requested standard sightseeing destinations, so I guided them to classic places. The guest kept exclaiming "Cool!" throughout the tour.
The guest enjoyed Tsukiji and was delighted by their first taste of sushi in Japan. Perhaps because of the heat, everywhere was quiet, and in Asakusa quite a few shops had their shutters closed. Even the Shibuya crossing was so empty that the road stripes were clearly visible.

My wife and I enjoyed this tour immensely. Maki was absolutely great. If you want to get oriented in Tokyo take this tour first. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and considerate to our needs for seeing the best of Tokyo in one day. I would recommend this tour on the first day to experience negotiating the Tokyo Metro and famous sights.
