What Can You Do on a Private Tokyo Day Tour to Akihabara and Sunshine City? A Licensed Guide's Report

The tour was for a group visiting Japan. The weather was good, but rather than following a typical sightseeing course, it turned into a tour focused on shopping, playing, and scouting locations. In Akihabara, we scouted a cat cafe, went through every floor of the Taito game arcade trying various games, and looked at a traditional Japanese candy store. The group seemed dissatisfied with that candy store and wanted to go somewhere else, but I could not find another one right away, so we moved on to the next location. After viewing a garden, we headed to the Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo in Sunshine City, and a search revealed a candy store in the basement there, so we spent time shopping at those two places before I saw the group off at the Hotel to end the tour. I received a souvenir at the end.
