Tokyo Customized Private Tour in 1 Day — Guide Mitch

Tour Itinerary
- 9:00 Leave the hotel. On the way to Tameike-Sanno Station, Mr. Mathews had a bad leg and also felt unwell, so we walked slowly.
- 9:30-10:40 Guided them from Omotesando to Harajuku and Cat Street. Rested on a bench along the way and took it slow.
- 10:40-11-30 Enjoyed matcha at a matcha coffee shop.
- 11:40-12:40 Guided them at Meiji Shrine. Mr. Mathews had a bad leg, so he waited at the cafe at the entrance. Guided only Ms. Jane.
- 13:10-13:45 Lunch in Ueno, strolled around Ameyoko.
- 14:00:15:00 Guided at the Tokyo Museum. Guided only Ms. Jane. Mr. Mathews had a bad leg, so he waited on a bench at the entrance.
- 15:30 Arrived at the hotel and said goodbye
What Is a Private Tokyo Tour Like at Meiji Shrine and the Tokyo National Museum? A Guide's Report
The guests were a group visiting Japan. When they left the hotel, one of them mentioned that walking was difficult and that they were not feeling well. I guided them slowly along Omotesando, taking rest breaks along the way. What normally takes about 5 minutes took 30 minutes. At Meiji Shrine, I guided one of the guests to the main hall, and they listened attentively to explanations about religious aspects. One of the guests was interested in Japanese culture and art, so we spent a good amount of time at the Tokyo National Museum. They listened very carefully to my explanations. Meanwhile, another guest rested on a bench outside. After resting, they gradually recovered.

Provide warm and humorous interaction, incorporating the spirit of hospitality I learned while studying at Columbia University in the United States.
Use my experience working at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to explain Tokyo’s present-day situation with the support of statistical data.

It was our first time to Japan. Mitch was a great guide, recommending the key sights in Tokyo. He contacted us before the trip so that he could set up an itinery that worked for our family. Great customized Itinerary with Mitch!
Mitch was a fantastic tour guide. He was very polite and knew the city very well, so there wasn’t a lost minute in our day. He asked me what my preferences were so he could customize my itinerary, and it was great! I was taken to see some hidden gems out of the traditional touristic circuits (and for that Im really thankful). I feel I learnt a lot about the history and culture of Japan, and I got to listen to many good anecdotes from Mitch. I also had a great soba for Lunch, in a very small and cozy restaurant. Arigatou gosaimasu, Mitch!

We had a fantastic day with our guide Mitch, he was very knowledgeable, a kind man & very generous with his time.
Mitch suggested sushi train for lunch pleasing our granddaughter greatly.
I would recommend Mitch for any type of tour, given he has excellent English.
