Title: What Is a Private One-Day Tokyo Tour Like for a Solo Traveler? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guest was a solo traveler visiting from Europe. They had planned a family trip to Japan in 2019 but had to cancel at the last minute, so this time they came on their own instead. On Sunday they were heading toward the Shimanami Kaido area to join a friend for a cruise on the Seto Inland Sea. Their stay in Tokyo was only for a short time, and the next day they planned to visit the National Museum of Western Art and the National Museum on their own. We shared similar interests and had great conversations, and it was a very enjoyable tour to guide.

My wife and I enjoyed this tour immensely. Maki was absolutely great. If you want to get oriented in Tokyo take this tour first. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and considerate to our needs for seeing the best of Tokyo in one day. I would recommend this tour on the first day to experience negotiating the Tokyo Metro and famous sights.
