What Is a Private Tokyo Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Shibuya and Tsukiji

The guests arrived in Japan from North America the previous day. They planned to stay in Tokyo for a while before visiting Hiroshima, Kyoto, and Osaka, and then returning home. The guests had created a bucket list for this trip, and today's tour brought two of those items to life: crossing the Shibuya Scramble Crossing and enjoying an "omakase" course at a sushi restaurant in Tsukiji. The biggest item on the bucket list for this trip was to visit a temple in Shizuoka, and the guests were scheduled to head to Shizuoka the next day. They kindly showed me several photographs taken about seventy years ago in front of a large tree within the temple grounds. The plan for the next day was to take photographs in front of that same tree in remembrance. Wishing that their bucket list would come true, we parted ways in front of the Hotel.
