- 10:00 Meet at Hotel > Walk and see a bit of the Imperial Palace
- 10:30 East Gardens of the Imperial Palace
- 11:55 Asakusa (Skytree photos)
- 12:30 Lunch @Toki no Niwa
- Move by Ginza Line, but since the Chiyoda Line is not running, walk from Omotesando
- 14:30 Meiji Shrine, also see the gardens
- 15:50 Ginza Station, guide the way to Matsuya
- 16:10 Tokyo Station, guide the passage to the Shinkansen
- 16:30 Disband at Hotel
Tour Itinerary in Detail
The tour started at 10:00 at Hotel > Walk and see a bit of the Imperial Palace and ended at 16:30. The day ran to 6 hours and 30 minutes from start to finish. It included lunch @Toki no Niwa at 12:30.
Over the course of the day the route took in East Gardens of the Imperial Palace at 10:30, Asakusa (Skytree photos) at 11:55, Meiji Shrine, also see the gardens at 14:30, Ginza Station, guide the way to Matsuya at 15:50 and Tokyo Station, guide the passage to the Shinkansen at 16:10.

What Is a Full-Day Private Tokyo Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report Covering the Imperial Palace, Asakusa, and Meiji Shrine
The sun came out from time to time, but it was not too hot, making it a pleasant day. When I asked whether the guests would like to go from Tokyo Station to the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace underground or above ground, they preferred going above ground, so I guided them along while explaining the old Edo Castle. In Asakusa and in the car, I received many questions about religion. The guests were also very fond of photography and enthusiastically took pictures with an SLR camera.
We finished at Meiji Shrine right on schedule, but I was asked to guide them to Ginza Matsuya, the meeting point for the next day's Mount Fuji tour, and to explain the route from Tokyo Station, the next day's arrival point, to their hotel. Since I attended to these requests, the tour ran slightly over time. No tip.

Allow me to introduce myself. I am a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter of Japan and an expert in Japanese history and culture, and also in nursing and health. I usually work as a Public Health Nurse (PHN) at a Public Health Center in Tokyo, and I hold a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Additionally, I have a Ph.D. in medical science.
Born in 1957 and raised in Tokyo, I have worked for 33 years mainly in the research and development area for some pharmaceutical companies. Then, I changed my career to nursing and entered a university to obtain a PHN and RN license. I took the Licensed Guide for preparation for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and volunteered in the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2021.

Koba was so nice to my family and I. He was patient and helped carry a large toy my daughter won. I wished we had another day. Having a guide saved us hours of navigating the subway and metro.
