- 10:00~10:30 Travel to the Imperial Palace→10:30~11:30 Stroll around the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace→11:30~11:50 Travel to Tsukiji→11:50~13:00 Stroll around Tsukiji, then enjoy a sushi lunch→13:00~13:20 Travel to Asakusa→13:20~14:00 Stroll around Senso-ji Temple→14:00~14:50 Travel to Meiji Shrine→14:50~15:40 Stroll around Meiji Shrine→15:40~16:00 Return to the hotel in Shinagawa, disband
Report: A Private Full-Day Hired-Car Tour of Tokyo in Summer — A Licensed Guide's Experience
Today's guests were visitors from North America, traveling as a group. All transportation was arranged by private hired car, which made the day comfortable. In the morning, before it got hot, we strolled through the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace. At this point, everyone in the group was doing well. However, from the afternoon the temperature and humidity rose sharply, so we shortened our time at Tsukiji Market and had an early lunch. As some of the guests began to feel low on energy, the group requested that we keep the walking time at Asakusa and Meiji Jingu Shrine shorter, so I omitted detailed explanations and focused only on the key points. Even though we traveled by private hired car, the difference in climate left the group thoroughly exhausted by the end of the day. It was a little unfortunate!

Yuji was an amazing guide. He was able to add so much information about all the sites we chose to see. He was very kind and when we were tired he suggested a stop for coffee. It revived us and we kept going.
I would highly recommend Yuji to any one visiting Tokyo.
