Tour Itinerary in Detail
Meeting at hotel at 9:30, the group explored Tokyo until the tour ended at 15:50. The day ran to 6 hours and 20 minutes from start to finish.
The itinerary covered Imperial Palace / Nijubashi Bridge at 10:00, Ginza stroll at 11:00, Shinjuku Gyoen at 12:00, Shibuya Crossing at 13:20 and Tokyo Skytree at 14:00.
Title: What Can You See on a Private One-Day Tokyo Tour? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visitors from Oceania who planned to stay in Tokyo for a few days before setting off on a cruise from Yokohama. Following the guests' request to see the major sites in the city, we planned the itinerary accordingly.
We first headed to the Imperial Palace and Nijubashi Bridge, where I explained the history of Edo Castle, the Imperial Palace, and the Imperial family. Even more than the history, however, the guests seemed deeply impressed by the clean streets and the politeness of the people.
In Ginza, we stopped at a golf shop the guests had wanted to visit and finished some shopping. At the Hachiko statue and the crossing in Shibuya, which the guests had wished to see, they were amazed by the overwhelming crowds they were witnessing for the first time.
Next we headed to the Skytree. Unfortunately, the weather did not allow a view of Mount Fuji, which was a bit disappointing, but the guests were astonished by the vastness of Tokyo seen from the observation deck and compared it to the population of their own region. Finally, we stopped at a Sanrio shop to buy souvenirs, and the guests were satisfied, feeling they had accomplished the main purpose of their visit to Japan. Although it was an extremely hot day, the guests remained energetic and enjoyed themselves to the very end.

Highly recommend this tour for first time visit to Tokyo. Our guide Atsushi took great care to acclimate us with navigating through busy train stations efficiently with a group of eight family members. Along the way and at each site he explained various cultural practices and associated histories that made the tour very immersive and enjoyable. Best Tour for a Short Visit
Atsushi-san was an incredibly well-researched and friendly tour guide. His knowledge allowed us to explore and get to the historical significance of the various locations we visited. His explanations were simple but comprehensive. The six hours flew by and included some off-the-beaten opportunities including coffee at a very austere but memorable location near the fish market. I would highly recommend him as well as this tour for anyone with limited time in Tokyo wanting see as much as possible

Our guide, Atsushi, was great! He met us at our hotel in Hakone and took us clockwise to tour all the sites. He was informative and taught us a lot. Our group was two adults and a 14 year old. We saw Mt Fuji from the rope way, but unfortunately the pirate ship was canceled because of high wind. We would absolutely use Atsushi again for this tour, or any other tour he provides.
