What's a Full-Day Private Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Hamarikyu, Asakusa, Akihabara, Meiji Shrine, and Harajuku

It was a very hot day, and the guests used parasols throughout. Hamarikyu Gardens were extremely hot, but I explained the garden's teahouse and the falconry facilities. It was also hot in Asakusa, but the guests did some shopping and enjoyed themselves. Since they preferred snacks rather than a full lunch, I took them to a convenience store, where they ate snacks in front of the shop. In Akihabara, some of the guests showed particular interest in the maid cafés. By the time we reached Meiji Shrine, the weather had become uncertain, and we were caught in heavy rain along the approach path, forcing us to stop and shelter under umbrellas for about ten minutes. On Takeshita Street in Harajuku, the guests showed interest in various items, but as they planned to return another time, we finished the tour as scheduled (slightly early, since there was no further shopping). I received a souvenir from the guests.
