What Can You See on a Private One-Day Tour of Tokyo? A Licensed Guide's Report on Asakusa, Kiyosumi Garden, and Shibuya
Today's guests were a group visiting Japan from North America. Since they had contacted me the day before saying they wanted to eat sushi, I made a reservation at a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant in Asakusa, our first destination. After introducing Kaminarimon Gate and the Nakamise shopping street, we headed to the restaurant, where they thoroughly enjoyed the sushi. Afterwards, because it was extremely hot and humid, we strolled through Kiyosumi Garden, which offered relatively good shade. They were impressed by how the Japanese garden, with its beautifully pruned pine trees and stones arranged over the pond, represents a completely different concept from Western gardens. We then walked around Omotesando before heading to Shibuya, where they enjoyed seeing the Hachiko statue and the Shibuya Crossing. Finally, since there were younger members in the group, they experienced Mario and the Pokemon World at a virtual space attraction in Shibuya.

Yuji was an amazing guide. He was able to add so much information about all the sites we chose to see. He was very kind and when we were tired he suggested a stop for coffee. It revived us and we kept going.
I would highly recommend Yuji to any one visiting Tokyo.
