Tour Itinerary in Detail

Meeting at hotel at 10:00, the group explored Tokyo until the tour ended at 16:00. The day ran to 6 hours from start to finish.

The itinerary covered East Gardens of the Imperial Palace at 10:20, Tsukiji Market at 12:20, Akihabara at 14:00 and Shibuya Crossing at 15:30.

Travel between the sites was by public transport: Otemachi (Tokyo) to Takebashi by subway (180JPY); Otemachi (Tokyo) to Tsukiji by subway (180JPY); Tsukiji to Akihabara by subway (180JPY); Akihabara to Shibuya by train (260JPY). Across 4 sections the fare came to 800JPY per person.

The guests were visiting from North America. Before coming to Japan, they had stopped over in Asia and enjoyed snorkeling. At the East Gardens, they were amazed by the scale of the stone walls. Some of the guests were also delighted to see the turtles in the moat. At Tsukiji, they said the wagyu beef steak was delicious and had it twice. Afterward, at Akihabara, some of the guests found favorite figures at an electronics store and purchased them. Finally, at the Shibuya crossing, they crossed back and forth many times, taking photos and videos.
