What Does a Private Walking Tour of Tokyo Look Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Tsukiji, Asakusa, Shibuya, and Meiji Shrine

The guests were a cheerful group visiting from Oceania. Since it was winter in their home region, there had been some concern about the heat and humidity, but they had stopped in Asia before coming to Japan and were already accustomed to it. At Tsukiji, they looked at a variety of ingredients and knives, and in Asakusa they enjoyed browsing for souvenirs and sweets that interested each of them along Nakamise. Everyone also drew omikuji fortunes and had fun with it. After that, we had lunch at a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant in Shibuya, and they said the rotating sushi was inexpensive and delicious. We took photos of the Shibuya crossing from Starbucks, and after visiting and praying at Meiji Shrine, we all had ice cream together before heading back. It was a very lively group, and I enjoyed it very much as well.
