What Can You See on a Private One-Day Tour of Tokyo? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visitors from North America who were in Japan for the first time. They had arrived at the Tokyo International Cruise Terminal this morning on a cruise tour and planned to return home shortly. At Meiji Shrine, the guests appeared impressed by the quiet and solemn atmosphere, which was very different from Shibuya. At the Imperial Palace, they listened with interest to historical explanations about the role of the Emperor, the Meiji Restoration, and the Edo Shogunate. At Sensoji Temple, they listened with interest to explanations about the differences between temples and shrines, as well as the Kaminarimon Gate, and they also purchased souvenirs along Nakamise Street. Since the group walked slowly and needed several rest breaks along the way, the tour took longer than originally planned. As I accommodated the guests' wishes, I believe they were satisfied.

Seizo Kaminto is een uitstekende gids. De metro van Tokio is een doolhof en zonder hem zou ik een hoop tijd verloren hebben, we bezochten de highlights en Seizo wist overal wat te vertellen. Het tempo lag wel hoog en het was warm maar Seizo wist ook waar we een frisse pint konden drinken. Kortom ik ben zeer tevreden.
