What Can You See on a Rainy-Day Private Tour of Tokyo? A Licensed Guide's Report on Fukagawa, Asakusa, and Shibuya
Because it was raining, I took the guests to the indoor Fukagawa Edo Museum, where they were very satisfied to experience the daily life of ordinary people during the Edo period. We went up into the traditional houses on display, and I explained each one. The guests were interested in the toilets in the Japanese houses. When I explained that street-stall sushi, soba, and tempura were the fast food of that era, they were very surprised. The Fukagawa Edo Museum also displays photographs and related items of the sumo grand champion Taiho, so when I explained about sumo, the guests said they would really love to see it and would like to come back during a sumo tournament.
Since some of the guests love anime, and especially Studio Ghibli, on the way from Kiyosumi-Shirakawa to Asakusa I took them to the Donguri Republic store in Skytree Town during our transfer at Oshiage, and they were delighted.
After that, we visited Sensoji Temple in Asakusa, and since it was just around lunchtime, I took them to the ramen they had requested, which they treated me to. They really liked the ramen. Next we went to Harajuku, strolled along Takeshita Street, and then I took them to Kiddy Land on Omotesando, as some of the guests love Hello Kitty. Finally, I took them from Harajuku to Shibuya, where we visited the Hachiko statue, the Shibuya crossing, and the Pokemon Center.
The guests were very pleased, so I believe they were satisfied.

Our guide Jim created an itinerary around our interests
Tripadvisor review: Tokyo 6hr Private Tour with Government-Licensed Guide
It was a rainy day, so I guide Jim created an itinerary that suited the weather and our
interests. We went to a small museum that displayed the life of 18th and 19th century
Japanese people as well as number of other sites and plenty of room for shopping
