What Can You See on a Private One-Day Tour of Kyoto's Temples and Shrines? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were cheerful visitors from North America. In our email exchange beforehand, they had expressed a wish to see each location briefly and visit as many places as possible, so I narrowed down the route and, by using a taxi twice, we were able to cover five locations. The taxi dispatches and train transfers went smoothly, and we were able to follow the planned course as scheduled, so the guests seemed satisfied. They took a strong interest in the temples and shrines and took many photographs. For lunch, to save time, I chose a fast-food soba restaurant, and they seemed to enjoy that as well.
