- 9:00 Meeting @ Hoshinoya Tokyo
- 10:15 Motomachi-Chukagai St. – Harbor View Hill Park – Berrick Hall – Motomachi Shopping Street – Chinatown
- 12:00 Lunch @ Manchinro – Red Brick Warehouse – Yokohama Air Cabin – Minatomirai St.
- 14:15 Shibuya – Shibuya Sky Observation Deck – Dismissal 14:45 @ Shibuya Sky 12F
What Is a Private Yokohama and Shibuya Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
Following on from the previous day, I guided the group again. Today we visited the Yamate area and the Minato Mirai area of Yokohama. The park overlooking the sea had beautiful flowers, and the foreign cemetery had a quiet atmosphere, so the guests enjoyed a mood different from Tokyo. They found the Motomachi shopping area stylish and fun, and enjoyed some window shopping. In Chinatown, I took them to a restaurant for dim sum. They were delighted with the sweet miso pork buns I had recommended, saying they were delicious. From there we took a taxi to the Red Brick Warehouse, and after looking inside, we rode the Air Cabin. The air conditioning was pleasant, and they thoroughly enjoyed the view of Minato Mirai from the sky. After returning to Shibuya, I introduced the streets of Shibuya from the 12th floor of Shibuya Sky. They liked the shops at Shibuya Sky and decided to stay there to shop, so we parted ways a little earlier than planned. The guests told me they had a wonderful time over the two days, and it turned out to be a very good tour.

And “ko” literally means child in Japanese. Thus, my name Kyoko means Kyoto’s child, Kyoko. But some guests call me Kyoto. It’s okay, not a big problem.
But to say the truth, I feel like this, ” Am I like an ancient person? No way~!!…” I am mainly guiding in and around Tokyo. Tokyo has two faces of well-advanced and old-fashioned. So, you can enjoy both high-tech technology and historical culture plus delicious food and drinks,too. You will surely be inspired in this city with me. Absolutely amazing tour in Nikko. We wanted to see something other than the city, someplace rich with history. Nikko did not disappoint. The architecture was breathtaking. Kyoko, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable regarding the shrine and the entire historical site. What a great experience! I highly recommend the Nikko tour along with our guide, Kyoko.

Our wonderful guide Kyoko prepared an excellent tour for my family and me.
I had given Kyoko some rough ideas of the sorts of things that we might like to see but left her to use he expertise to show us what she thought was best.
We certainly were not disappointed. We loved everything on our itinerary. Kyoko had a lot of interesting knowledge to share and her English was perfect.
Kyoko was also very caring towards my parents, who have some mobility issues.
At the end of the tour Kyoko made sure that we got to the correct underground platform.
I would highly recommend
