Title: What Is a Private Full-Day Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Meiji Shrine, the Imperial Palace, and Asakusa
We started from the hotel ten minutes ahead of schedule. Meiji Shrine, our first stop, happened to be holding its spring grand festival, so the guests were able to catch a glimpse of the kagura dance near the main hall, which they were delighted by. We then moved on to the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, where the guests were impressed by the massive stone walls of the former Edo Castle. Along the way, one of the guests became tired, so we took a ten-minute rest on a bench in the Ninomaru Garden. After arriving in Asakusa, since tempura had been requested for lunch, I took the guests to Sandaikin next to Kaminarimon. After a leisurely lunch break of about an hour, we strolled around Asakusa. Since one of the guests wanted to buy a kanzashi hair ornament, I took the group to a specialty kanzashi shop near Nakamise Street. Having found a kanzashi they liked, the guest was in high spirits. Although we had planned to part ways at Asakusa Station, the guests asked me to ride the train with them partway, so we boarded the Ginza Line together, went as far as Ueno Station, and there I got off and said goodbye.

Tak was an excellent tour guide! He was punctual, had excellent communication and was thoughtful and accommodating. We greatly appreciated his range of knowledge and ability to explain local customs and history. He showed us how to use the subway and chose an excellent place for lunch. We were very glad we chose a tour in Tokyo to go to the Tsukiji Outer (Fish) Market, Meiji Jingu Shrine and Sensoji Temple. Tak made the whole tour very comfortable, informative, and entertaining. We highly recommend him and Japan Guide Agency!

Tripadvisor review: Tokyo Customized Private Tour in 1 Day with Licensed Guide
We booked our first time 6 hour tour with Tak. He was an excellent guide and very personable. We learned so much history, and he showed us so much of Tokyo as we went from place to place via the subway. He met us at our hotel, and at the end of the tour he led us to the subway and made sure we were on the correct line with careful instructions as to how to get back to our hotel. Before the tour he emailed us with suggestions as to how we could spend the day. He was open to any input we had. During the tour if we wanted to stop to see a site for a longer period of time he was always open to our wishes. We learned a lot and really enjoyed his company. He is an excellent guide.
