What Can You See on a Private One-Day Tokyo Tour? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were a group visiting from Oceania. They had arrived in Japan the day before, and after Tokyo they planned to visit Hakone, Takayama, Kanazawa, Kyoto, Hiroshima, and other destinations, staying in Japan for about two weeks in total.
I guided them around Asakusa, the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, and teamLab Planets. They walked energetically and completed the planned itinerary without any problems. At each location, they enthusiastically took photos and enjoyed the sightseeing.
Since it was a national holiday and many places in the Otemachi area were closed, we moved to Toyosu and had lunch at a sushi restaurant. Finally, at Shin-Toyosu Station, the nearest station to teamLab Planets, I explained how to get back to the hotel, and we parted ways.

He asked for our visit priorities and designed an interesting and engaging tour over the several hours we spent together. This tour was beyond expectations! Haru, my tour guide, was knowledgeable, kind and friendly. I feel like I learned so much from him throughout the day! I loved that I was able to choose from so many different sightseeing options. I simply gave Haru my list of preferred places and he did the rest!
