What Is a Private Tokyo Walking Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Tsukiji, Asakusa, and Shinjuku

The guests were visiting Japan for the first time from Europe, having arrived just the day before. They seemed surprised by how crowded Tokyo was. At Tsukiji Market they were amazed by the throngs of people from early in the morning, and in Asakusa they remarked on how beautiful the buildings were, taking many photographs. They also found Meiji Jingu beautiful and took photos there. After Takeshita Street, the guests wanted to visit a particular boutique, so we went to the Ura-Harajuku area, where they purchased a hoodie and some stickers, and then headed to Shinjuku Gyoen. The late-blooming cherry blossoms were still in flower, and we strolled mainly around the Japanese garden before going to Golden Gai. They enjoyed the atmosphere of Golden Gai as well. The tour concluded in Kabukicho. The weather was fine, and I believe the guests had an enjoyable time.
