Title: What's a Private Day Tour of Nezu, Ueno, and Asakusa in Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a group visiting from Europe, who had booked through a travel agency. Since their only requests were Nezu and Asakusa, I combined Nezu with Ueno and a short walk through Ameyoko. The azaleas at Nezu were already beautiful. The group seemed genuinely interested in Japan and asked many questions. For lunch we went for wagyu yakiniku, which they appeared to enjoy. We also made a spur-of-the-moment visit to Kappabashi, where they bought as many as three kitchen knives, but because they did not have their original passports with them, they were unable to receive the tax exemption. I mentioned that knives are sold in other places too, so there was no need to buy them here specifically, but they went ahead and purchased them anyway. The weather was lovely, and I believe they had a great time.
