Tour Itinerary
- ①8:00 Meet at hotel (APA Ryogoku)
- ②9:00–10:00 Shinjuku Gyoen
- ③10:00–11:00 Stroll around Shinjuku, head to Harajuku
- ④11:00–12:30 Meiji Shrine, lunch, move to Asakusa
- ⑤12:30–14:00 Asakusa, Sensoji Temple, move to Ryogoku via Akihabara Station
- ⑥14:30 Disband at Ryogoku Station
What Can You See on a Private One-Day Cherry Blossom Tour of Tokyo? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visitors from North America, visiting Japan for the first time and planning a relaxed week in Tokyo that would include a sushi-making experience and sightseeing around Mount Fuji. They had arrived the previous night, so this was effectively their first full day of sightseeing. In addition to their requested destinations of Meiji Shrine and Asakusa, [Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/) guided them to Shinjuku Gyoen, where the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. Although reservations are normally required on Saturdays, we stopped by during the very first time slot in the morning, which does not require a reservation. They were absolutely delighted with this rare opportunity. At Meiji Shrine they also happened to encounter a wedding ceremony in progress, which they were very happy to see. Blessed with fine weather all day and cherry blossoms in full bloom, the guests were able to fully enjoy their first tour of Tokyo.

We stopped for a traditional Japanese lunch and saw some of the specialty wood carvings from the area.
