Title: What's a Private Winter Day Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Asakusa, Skytree, and Shibuya

The guest was visiting Japan from Europe. Because the main hall of Senso-ji Temple closes at 5:00, we changed the meeting time from 15:00 to 14:00. The guest had only just arrived that morning. Unfortunately, it rained that day and it was as cold as midwinter. I explained how to ride the trains and subway, including how to make transfers. The guest was very interested in history, religion, and culture, asked many questions, and also shared stories about their home. The guest was surprised at how clean everything in Japan is and that the trains run right on schedule. At Nakamise, the guest tried mitarashi dango and said it was delicious. Unfortunately, at Tokyo Skytree we were unable to see the view. Using a picture in the brochure, I explained that Mount Fuji can be seen in a certain direction on a clear day. We had tea at Solamachi and talked about various things, then returned to Shibuya, where the guest experienced the Shibuya Crossing. I introduced a shabu-shabu restaurant and then we returned to the hotel. The guest is going to travel around the Tohoku region next, so I think they will be able to see the cherry blossoms on a fine day.
