Title: What's a Private One-Day Tokyo Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Asakusa, Yanaka, and Harajuku

The guests were a group from North America who were visiting Japan for the first time, arriving in Tokyo after traveling through Asia and Hiroshima. At the start of the tour, they listened attentively to my explanation of public transportation in Tokyo. At Sensoji Temple and Asakusa Shrine, the entire group actively took part in drawing omikuji fortunes, purifying themselves at the water pavilion, offering prayers, and purchasing omamori charms.

As the trip had long been of interest to the guests and was undertaken as a celebration, the tour proceeded with their preferences given priority. Along Nakamise Shopping Street in Asakusa, they bought strawberry sweets and took photos. They spent plenty of time enjoying shopping for clothes and shoes in the Yanaka shopping district, Takeshita Street, and around Harajuku Station.

Originally, Hamarikyu Gardens was planned as the final destination, but as the desire to prioritize shopping grew stronger among the guests, the plan was changed by mutual agreement, and the garden was left for another occasion. When I saw them off at their Hotel, they seemed tired but very satisfied.
