Title: What's a Private One-Day Tokyo Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Asakusa, Shinjuku Gyoen, and the Imperial Palace

The guests were visiting from Europe. It was their first time in Japan, and they requested Asakusa, Shinjuku Gyoen, and the Imperial Palace. One of the guests had watched a program about the shogun on television and expressed an interest in samurai and Japanese history. At Shinjuku Gyoen, they were amazed not only by the crowds but also by the overwhelming size of the garden and the beauty of the cherry blossoms. They remarked that Japanese gardens in Europe look like miniatures by comparison. They wanted to visit the Imperial Palace because they were curious to see where the Emperor lives. As soon as we arrived in Asakusa, we had lunch (ramen), and they were pleased at how inexpensive it was compared with prices back home. From Asakusa, I showed them the exit closest to their hotel near Shimbashi, and we said our goodbyes.
