What's a Full-Day Private Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Tsukiji, Asakusa, Shibuya, and Harajuku

The guests were visiting Japan for the first time from North America. At Tsukiji, they enjoyed strawberry candy, wagyu beef, and fatty tuna (otoro) sushi, and were delighted, saying it was incomparable to what they eat back home. In Asakusa, in addition to Senso-ji Temple, they viewed the cherry blossoms at Sumida Park before heading to a restaurant. They enjoyed okonomiyaki, monjayaki, teppanyaki, and beer, saying they could never have found a place like this on their own. We passed through Kappabashi and took the Ginza Line to Shibuya. Besides the Shibuya crossing, since they liked Pokémon, we also stopped by the Pokémon Center, and then went on to Harajuku. They said Meiji Jingu Shrine was beautiful. After that, I took them to Takeshita Street, and since they wanted to explore on their own from there, we ended the tour. I had been worried about the rain, but it cleared up right around 10:00, making it a very pleasant day.
