Title: What's a Private Tokyo Day Tour Like in Cherry Blossom Season? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were visitors from North America, and since it was their first time in Japan, I asked about various requests in advance and was able to provide a plan tailored to their wishes. On the day, they expressed a desire to visit a micro-pig cafe in Harajuku, so I adjusted the route slightly to include it. They enjoyed it very much. At Shinjuku Gyoen, the cherry blossoms had just come into bloom, and we took many commemorative photos. After visiting Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa, I guided them to a reserved restaurant themed around a sumo stable in Asakusa, where we said goodbye.

My name is Mari Ise. I started this job as a guide Interpreter in 2020. I don’t have much experience, but I have been enjoying traveling with visitors from abroad very much since then. Besides this job, I am working as a teacher of English at high schools and am teaching Japanese language to people from foreign countries. I am very interested in traditional cultures, history, nature, art and music of both Japan and foreign countries. So, I would like to introduce and share much information with guests who will visit Japan. It would be my great pleasure if you visitors could enjoy and love travel in Japan.
