Title: What's a Private One-Day Tour of Asakusa, Tsukiji, and Hamarikyu Gardens in Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were a group visiting from Oceania, some of whom had been to Japan quite some time ago. We began by taking in the view from the observation deck at the Asakusa information center, then visited Senso-ji Temple. Along Nakamise Street, the guests enjoyed eating ningyo-yaki and shopping for souvenirs. After that, we went to Tsukiji, where we had nigiri sushi and tendon at a sushi restaurant. The guests said it was fresh and very delicious. We then went to Hamarikyu Gardens, and everyone made it as far as the Shioiri Pond. However, one of the guests had been experiencing back pain and wished to sit and rest near the Taka-no-Chaya area, so some of the guests and I walked around the pond and visited the field of rapeseed blossoms before rejoining the others and returning to the car. We had planned to visit Meiji Shrine next, but when I explained that Meiji Shrine involves quite a lot of walking, the guests said they had already enjoyed the day enough and wished to return to the hotel. So I explained Japanese history and about Meiji Shrine in the car, and we arrived at the hotel 30 minutes ahead of schedule, ending the tour. The weather was very nice and it was a warm day.

Mrs. fumiko was very kind, calm and lovely person. She give us a introduction before entering to the different places. She also help us to get the suica card and translate at specifics times around the city. We really enjoy the peaceful energy of mrs. fumiko. Fumiko is a great tour guide – informative, friendly and very well prepared.
Fumiko was a great tour guide given she was very knowledgeable about the key tourist sites that we visited and history of Japan. Fumiko was a great communicator who reached out very early to design our six-hour tour of Tokyo. Unfortunately we spent a lot of time on the underground to get to the sites that we wanted to visit. My advice is to test with Fumiko early the likely time that you will spend on transport over the course of the day so you do not spend unnecessary time on public transport. Probably do ot need a tour guide to go to the markets. Highly recommend Fumiko.
