Tour Itinerary in Detail
This private tour of Tokyo began at 10:00, when the guide met the guests at hotel, and finished at 17:00. The day ran to 7 hours from start to finish.
From there the group visited Tsukiji Outer Market at 10:30, Asakusa / Senso-ji Temple at 12:30, Shinjuku at 13:30, Harajuku at 15:00 and Shinjuku at 16:30.

The guests were a family visiting from North America. They had visited Tokyo before with the same group and had become great lovers of Japan, and since the children had grown older and a direct flight had become available, they decided to return. This time, the tour focused on the children's interests as we explored the city.
Since everyone loved seafood, we started at the Tsukiji Outer Market. Some of the guests were big tuna fans and kept ordering more sushi at the food stalls, while others loved oysters and, though amazed at the size of Japanese oysters, were delighted by how delicious they were. They also purchased plenty of dried squid and kelp, and mentioned they would finish all of it within a few days. Everyone, including the children, had a hearty appetite and clearly enjoyed the unique seafood market experience in Japan.
At Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa, the children were fascinated by traditional Japanese toys and had several bought for them.
After seeing the Godzilla Head in Shinjuku and having lunch, we headed to a watch shop in Harajuku that some of the guests had long wanted to visit, as they were very fond of watches, and they purchased several high-end timepieces.
Finally, the children wanted to take photos at Shibuya Crossing, so we stopped there before ending the tour.

Highly recommend this tour for first time visit to Tokyo. Our guide Atsushi took great care to acclimate us with navigating through busy train stations efficiently with a group of eight family members. Along the way and at each site he explained various cultural practices and associated histories that made the tour very immersive and enjoyable. Best Tour for a Short Visit
Atsushi-san was an incredibly well-researched and friendly tour guide. His knowledge allowed us to explore and get to the historical significance of the various locations we visited. His explanations were simple but comprehensive. The six hours flew by and included some off-the-beaten opportunities including coffee at a very austere but memorable location near the fish market. I would highly recommend him as well as this tour for anyone with limited time in Tokyo wanting see as much as possible

Our guide, Atsushi, was great! He met us at our hotel in Hakone and took us clockwise to tour all the sites. He was informative and taught us a lot. Our group was two adults and a 14 year old. We saw Mt Fuji from the rope way, but unfortunately the pirate ship was canceled because of high wind. We would absolutely use Atsushi again for this tour, or any other tour he provides.
