Title: What Is a Private Tokyo and Kamakura Family Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a multi-generational group visiting from Asia. Some of the group had visited Japan before for work, and this time the trip was combined with business so that the rest of the group, who were visiting Japan for the first time, could enjoy sightseeing together. They did not plan to travel to regional areas such as Kyoto, but instead chose to explore Tokyo and Kamakura. They had already visited Asakusa the day before, so we skipped the originally planned Asakusa portion. Since they had a reservation at teamLab Planets after the tour, we decided to head toward the waterfront at the end. At Meiji Shrine, the group took many photos of a lively young child, and one of the amulets they purchased was for academic success, intended to support the child's studies. At the Imperial Palace, even though they had come from a warm region, they began to feel a little tired from the heat. In Shibuya, they seemed relieved to move indoors for a while. As they were vegetarian but could eat cheese, we went to Shibuya Hikarie, which has two Italian restaurants, but they were crowded or did not have pizza, so in the end the guests purchased items they liked at the basement delicatessen and enjoyed them in the free seating area. After lunch, one of the group left the tour for business, and the rest of the group went to Shibuya Sky. One of the guests stayed in the shade due to the heat, while the young child was full of energy and ran around excitedly. Even after moving indoors, the child danced with full enthusiasm to the music playing. Because the departure was slightly delayed due to the guests' schedule and because we added an unplanned visit to Shibuya Sky, there was no extra time left in the overall tour, so at the end I guided them to Aqua City Odaiba, which has a nice view, so they could enjoy the coffee time they had requested, and we said goodbye there.
