Body: The guests were visitors from Europe. They said that after hearing stories from friends who had been to Japan, they wanted to experience a completely different culture. They remarked that while the crowded subway was similar to what they were used to, the sheer number of people at the tourist spots was surprising. They had also studied beforehand, reading books about the differences between shrines and temples and about the shogun. At Nakamise they did not do any particular shopping, but they were interested in children's jinbei. After strolling through Ueno, we headed toward Ginza, but as one of the guests felt a little chilly and wanted to buy some clothes, I took them to UNIQLO before we parted ways.

Rumi was very knowledgeable and took us to major tourist attractions like Meiji Shrine Senso ji temple as well as Gina shopping district. She helped us navigate the confusing train and subway system
