Title: What Is a Private New Year's Day Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Asakusa and Shibamata

The weather was fine, but the planned route of Asakusa > Shibamata > Tokyo Daijingu > Shibuya had to be adjusted, as Sensoji Temple was extremely crowded and Shibamata was slow-going, so Tokyo Daijingu was dropped and we went directly from Shibamata to Shibuya, where we parted ways. At Asakusa, the guests enjoyed taking photos of the Skytree. Sensoji Temple was extremely crowded and it took a great deal of time to reach the main hall, but the guests did not seem particularly upset (I received an email this morning saying that it could not be helped since it was January 1st). After paying their respects, the guests enjoyed snacks from the street stalls, and since they wanted to eat gyoza, I guided them to a restaurant where they ate quite a lot. At the end of the tour, I received a tip.
