What Does a Private Full-Day Tokyo Walking Tour Include? A Licensed Guide's Report

The weather was clear and the tour proceeded smoothly. After the guests purchased a Tokyo Metro 24-hour pass in Ikebukuro, we set off. At the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, I talked extensively about Edo Castle and the Imperial Family. The guests took many photos in the gardens, and we talked a lot about gardening. At Meiji Shrine, I discussed the Meiji era and the relationship between the two nations, including the Anglo-Japanese Alliance. I also explained Shinto, as well as Omiyamairi and Shichi-Go-San (there happened to be worshippers for both). The request to see the Shibuya Scramble Crossing came about because a friend had talked about it, but the guests were surprised by the crowds at Shibuya Station. I saw them off in front of their hotel and the tour ended. I received a tip.
