What Is a Private Tokyo Day Tour of Meiji Shrine and Asakusa Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were visitors from North America. They had arrived in Japan early the previous morning and had done a lot of walking that day, so they were a little tired. I guided them to Meiji Shrine and Asakusa. Asakusa was very lively as it was the day of the monthly temple fair, and we were able to see the Golden Dragon Dance. The weather was very nice, so there were also a great many people. One of the guests enjoyed taking photographs and spent time carefully capturing pictures at each location. They wanted to buy a knife in Japan, so after Asakusa they planned to head toward Kappabashi in the afternoon.
