What's a Private Day Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on the Imperial Palace, Meiji Shrine, and Harajuku
Today's guests were visitors from North America. We first visited the Imperial Palace, starting with an explanation of the Otemon Gate, and then strolled through the Ninomaru Garden. They asked why fewer people walk their dogs in Japan, and I explained that, just as in North America, many people in Japan keep dogs as pets. Next, we walked around Meiji Shrine, where they were amazed by the size of the torii gate. We then strolled through Harajuku, where they remarked that the abundance of European brand buildings reminded them of Fifth Avenue in New York. Finally, the guests enjoyed wagyu beef at a yakiniku restaurant before we parted ways.

Yuji was an amazing guide. He was able to add so much information about all the sites we chose to see. He was very kind and when we were tired he suggested a stop for coffee. It revived us and we kept going.
I would highly recommend Yuji to any one visiting Tokyo.
