What's a Private Walking Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Shibuya, Harajuku, and Ginza

The guests were visitors to Japan from Africa. One of them was very attentive to world affairs, and at the Hachiko statue in Shibuya, they struck up a conversation with a foreign visitor holding a placard calling for the liberation of Palestine. When asked how Japanese people feel about the situation in Gaza, I explained that, regardless of political positions, many Japanese people are deeply saddened by the reality that so many people have lost their lives and are suffering from hunger.

Since the guests planned to enjoy a sushi dinner with friends in Ginza in the evening, we kept lunch light. In Harajuku, they were drawn to a uniquely designed building, and at an eat-in cafe inside it they enjoyed lemonade and a mentaiko potato crepe.

At Pepper Parlor in Shibuya, they were very excited by the robot, Pepper. I also introduced them to the single-act seating at the Kabukiza Theater near their accommodation. Although they did not purchase tickets on the spot, they showed strong interest, so I also told them about the free Kabukiza Gallery.
