What Is a Private One-Day Tokyo Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Asakusa, Shibuya, and Meiji Shrine

The weather was fine, and the tour proceeded pleasantly. We met at a hotel in Nishi-Shinjuku, purchased 24-hour passes at the station, and set off. In Asakusa, the guests took many photos and enjoyed themselves. We had not planned to visit Shibuya, but since they said they very much wanted to see "the busiest pedestrian crossing in the world," we decided to stop by Shibuya on short notice. Perhaps because it was a holiday, it was extremely crowded, and the guests were surprised by the number of people. At Meiji Shrine, perhaps because it was an auspicious holiday and the season was pleasant, there were as many as four weddings taking place during the time we were watching, which delighted the guests greatly. We went as far as the entrance of Takeshita Street, but the guests were surprised by the crowds and, saying that such a crowded place was better skipped, we moved on. We arrived at the hotel slightly over the scheduled time, but overall the guests were very pleased.
