The guests were visiting Japan for the first time from North America. They mentioned that after sightseeing in Tokyo and Kamakura, they planned to visit Hida-Takayama, Kyoto, and other destinations. At the Imperial Palace, they listened with great interest to historical explanations about the role of the Emperor, the Edo Shogunate, and the Meiji Restoration. At the Tokyo National Museum, they enjoyed viewing exhibits related to Japanese history and art. At Senso-ji Temple, they listened with interest to explanations about the differences between temples and shrines. Since Nakamise Street was very crowded with tourists and the guests wished to avoid the congestion, we took a back route to reach the Hozomon Gate and the main hall. At Kappabashi Kitchenware Street, the guests expressed a wish to explore shops such as the cooking-knife stores at their own pace on their own, so we parted ways there. Although the weather was unfortunately rainy today, I responded in accordance with the guests' wishes, so I believe they were satisfied.

Seizo Kaminto is een uitstekende gids. De metro van Tokio is een doolhof en zonder hem zou ik een hoop tijd verloren hebben, we bezochten de highlights en Seizo wist overal wat te vertellen. Het tempo lag wel hoog en het was warm maar Seizo wist ook waar we een frisse pint konden drinken. Kortom ik ben zeer tevreden.
