What Is a Private Cherry Blossom Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Ueno Park and Asakusa

The guests were visitors from North America who had been very much looking forward to coming to Japan. They fully enjoyed the peak cherry blossoms at Ueno Park and were thrilled by the Nakamise shopping street in Asakusa. They mentioned that they would like to visit again during their stay in Tokyo. At the Imperial Palace, I explained about the Imperial family and the shoguns, and in Asakusa I explained Shinto and Buddhism. I also provided an orientation while on the train and elsewhere, and the guests thanked me, saying they understood everything very well. After this, they plan to spend a few days sightseeing in Tokyo and Nikko, then board a cruise ship in Yokohama to visit Shimizu, Kochi, Nagasaki, Tottori, Tsuruga, and Hakodate, before heading home to North America.

I obtained license of guide interpreter in 2018 and started guiding in 2019 Jan.
The reason why I got this license is that I have strong passion to introduce Japan to foreign people.
Japan has a lot of attractions to be proud of in the world, fascinating historical places, culture, food, and beautiful nature like Mt.Fuji, and expertise that has been preserved through long history.
As a guide, I always keep it on my mind how to satisfy my guest and make their trip unforgettable.
