Title: What Is a Private Tokyo Walking Tour Like in Cherry Blossom Season? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were visitors from Europe. Keeping in mind that they were very much looking forward to history, culture, gardens, and food, I proposed a tour tailored to those interests. Since the hotel was near the Imperial Palace, we made sure not to miss the special seasonal opening of Inui Street (we entered smoothly just 20 minutes after opening, a great start!), and at Nezu Shrine we happened upon a local festival with a children's procession, so the good fortune continued. During the tour I learned that they were fond of ceramics, so we stopped by a recommended shop in Yanaka, which delighted them greatly. We strolled toward Ueno Park while admiring the cherry blossoms in full bloom at Yanaka Cemetery. Along the way we also visited long-established shops selling rice crackers and Japanese sweets, which they thoroughly enjoyed.
