Title: What Can You See on a Private Tokyo Day Tour? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were visitors from North America, and it was their first time in Japan, so we planned their Tokyo itinerary together. Since rain from a typhoon was expected on Sunday, I recommended making a reservation for TeamLab Borderless. The guests were very friendly and listened attentively to the guiding. They were deeply moved by the quiet atmosphere of the Imperial Palace, the food culture at Tsukiji, and the forest and serene presence of Meiji Jingu Shrine, and they enjoyed the Shibuya Crossing in Shibuya. Since some of the guests were looking forward to shopping, I introduced several shops in Ginza and guided them to a MUJI store in Shibuya. I truly enjoyed spending time with them as well. A notable stop on the tour was Meiji Jingu Shrine. Meiji Jingu is a Shinto shrine located in the heart of Tokyo, dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken. Surrounded by a vast forest of over 100,000 trees donated from across Japan, it offers a peaceful retreat from the surrounding city. The shrine is a popular place for traditional ceremonies and quiet reflection, and its towering torii gates and forested pathways make it one of the most visited spiritual sites in the capital.

Hi,
Thank you for contacting the Japan Guide Association to request a licensed guide for your upcoming visit to Japan. My name is Motoko Tanaka. I’m so happy to be assigned to you.
Let me introduce myself. I was born and raised in Tokyo, so it is nice to hear that you are excited about your visit to this wonderful city. There is much to be excited about here in Tokyo. I have really enjoyed guiding in Tokyo and the surrounding areas for more than 10 years.
I live with my husband and a dog named Alice. She was a rescue dog and I adopted her about 4 years ago. Now she is a very precious family member. I have two daughters, the elder one has a child and the younger has a aroma shop in a town near Mr. Fuji. I sometimes visit there with Alice.
I look forward to hearing from you and working with you to create a special day.
Regards,
Motoko
