What Is a Full-Day Private Walking Tour of Asakusa Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visitors from North America and were strong walkers, able to cover a considerable distance, so we completed the entire itinerary as planned without using a taxi. In Asakusa, the guests wanted to buy a samue (traditional Japanese work clothing) and the tabi footwear worn by rickshaw pullers, so we searched around specialty shops and were able to find a 3L-size samue and 31-centimeter tabi shoes, which pleased them very much. I was glad I patiently accompanied them during the shopping. Although the shopping in Asakusa took some time, since it was an 8-hour tour, we had plenty of time to spare and were able to complete the entire itinerary.
