Title: What's an 8-Hour Private Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Ryogoku, Ueno, and Yanaka

I guided guests visiting from North America on an 8-hour private tour of Tokyo. In the morning the Den-en-toshi Line was delayed by more than 30 minutes, so I contacted the guests along the way and we started 15 minutes late. It was a long day at eight hours, but the guests were very pleasant. They loved sumo and were extremely knowledgeable about the wrestlers' names and other details, so they thoroughly enjoyed Ryogoku. They mentioned that they wanted to visit a calligraphy shop, so we went to a shop in Ueno where the owner was incredibly kind, which was a wonderful experience. They purchased a piece of calligraphy with a poem written on it along with a mounting board. They loved the townscape of Yanaka and bought traditional toy prints and chiyogami paper at a long-established shop there. At the first stop, Namiyoke Shrine, they purchased a goshuin stamp book and collected five goshuin stamps. When we returned to Shimbashi Station, I helped them buy Shinkansen tickets for Osaka and from Kyoto, confirmed the route to their accommodation, and the tour came to an end.
